Fishing Report 8-1-05

With my daughter, son-in-law and my other Grandson Alec on their way up, I squeezed one more guide trip in before we hit the "fun fishing" with the family for the rest of this week. Mark Burford had lined me up to take his brother Scott and his son Chris and Mark's son Cole out for half a day at East.

We hit it early and were on the water by 6:00 a.m. I have been working the same pattern of tapping browns in the thermocline with leadcore and downriggers with much success for the last two weeks now. We hooked 12 browns by 11:00 with the biggest fish going 3, 4 and 6.5 LB. Scott and I let the boys land all the fish and of course they wanted to keep a few to eat and show off some to Mom as well. We kept 5 browns including the two biggest. I will add some photos when they are ready.

My next report will cover some of the fishing I do with my son-in-law and Grandson and should be up right behind this one........
