Fishing Report 5-06

I just got an email from two previous clients from last year that just got back from a trip to Paulina Lake recently. Andy and Dave fished with me last fall and employed some of the techniques they learned from our trip. They came in from Arizona to fish this trophy lake and sampled some nice browns.

Armed with some new Tekota reels and Luckycraft Pointers, they managed to stick 30 browns on a 3 day stay at the resort. Dave got into a beautiful 4 LB. brown and Andy followed up with a nice 5 Lb. fish. Their best fish was in the 7-8 Lb. range. It looks like two more anglers can be added to the ranks of trophy brown trout fanatics. Good job you guys!

Hopefully, I will be able to sneak up for some Paulina action myself soon. This house move has me hog tied for the time being, but I should be able to get up there in early June. Maybe this will be the year that Paulina kicks out a monster brown.
